How the house handles your data — demonstration version, to be drawn up with legal counsel.
What we collect
The analysis-kit form collects your name, your contact details, your postal address and your four-digit postal code. The callback form collects a phone number and a time slot. The client area keeps your installation number, your order history and your Water Score. No so-called "sensitive" data is requested.
What we do with it
Three uses, not one more: posting your kit, returning your Water Score, and calling you back if you asked for it. No resale, no rental, no unsolicited campaign.
The framework: GDPR and the Austrian Data Protection Act
Processing falls under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (Datenschutzgesetz, DSG). The controller, the legal basis for each purpose and the processing register will be documented at launch.
Where your data lives — and the transfer question
The house operates from Geneva: your data may be processed in Switzerland, a country recognised as adequate by the European Commission. Hosting and processors will be documented at launch. This demonstration, for its part, transmits nothing: form submissions are simulated locally, with no remote write.
For how long
Retention periods for each purpose will be specified at launch, aligned with the GDPR and the Austrian DSG.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability and restriction: on simple request to the house (see the Support page). You may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, DSB) at any time.
Audience measurement
The demonstration logs usage events locally, with no remote write. The production tooling — measurement and consent — will be documented here before any launch.
